Ta teden bomo pokukali v domove nekaterih slovenskih blogerk in izvedeli kako so oziroma še bodo letos okrasile svoje domove. 

Danes vam predstavljam Moniko, ki ustvarja na blogu Sugarlove blog. Je ljubiteljica lepotnih izdelkov, katere z velikim veseljem preizkuša in predstavlja svojim bralcem. Sicer lepotnih blogov ne spremljam veliko, ampak njen blog me vedno znova očara s čudovitimi fotografijami, iskrenostjo in njeno pozitivno energijo. Monika, dobrodošla na mojem blogu! :)

This week is going to be all about Slovenian bloggers and how they decorate their homes for Christmas.

Today I want to introduce you to Monika, who is creating a Sugarlove blog. She is a true beauty lover, who loves to test beauty products and sharing her experiences with her readers. I don't follow much beauty blogs, but every timeI fall in love with her beautiful photos, honest posts and her positive energy. Monika, welcome to my blog! :)

Še nekaj dni je do božiča, pa me zanima kdaj tebe navadno zajame praznično vzdušje?

Kdaj pri tebi doma začnete okraševati?

Vsako leto se mi zdi, da je vzdušja ob božičnih praznikih vedno manj. Mogoče pogrešam sneg, pričakovanje po čarobnosti. Ker pa ne želim, da ves čaroben čas zdrvi mimo nas, smo se letos skupaj odločili, da naš dom okrasimo in popestrimo z lučkami, po več kot 8 letih nadomestimo umetno jelko s tisto pravo, ki nas vsak dan razveseli s svojim vonjem. Teden dni pred božičem je naš čas okraševanja v polnem teku.

Kako si svoj dom okrasila letos?

Letošnjo zimo me je popolnoma zajel skandinavski stil, kombinacija bele in sive. Le to občutno zaznam v najini spalnici, kotičku, kjer ustvarjam svoje blog objave, urejam fotografije. Šopek borovih vejic, sivi okraski, ki visijo iz stene, toplina lučk me vedno znova razveselijo.

There are a few more days until Christmas, so I was wondering, when do you usually get in the holiday spirit? When do you start decorating for Christmas at your home?

I feel like there is less and less holiday spirit every year at Christmas. Maybe I miss the snow, the expectation of the magical moments. But I don't want that this magical time passes by, so we decided to decorate our home and spice it up with fairy lights; after 8 years we replaced an artificial tree with a real one, which brightens us up every day with its nice smell. Decorating for the holidays gets underway a week before Christmas.

How did you decorate for Christmas this year?

I completely fell for Scandinavian style this winter, the combination of white and grey. You can significantly feel it in our bedroom and in my blogging corner, where I'm creating posts for my blog and editing photos. The bouquet of pine twigs, grey decorations on the wall and the warmth of the lights make me happy over and over again.

Uporabiš vsako leto enake barve in dekoracijo ali raje eksperimentiraš z različnimi?

Okraske na jelki in dekorativne kose menjujemo na vsake dve leti. Letos smo dodali naši jelki happy lučke, ki so ekstra popularne in pričarajo tisto pravo toplino. Kombiniramo različne kose in različne barve, osnova pa kot vedno bela. Sem pa strmela tudi k naravi, borove vejice najdete povsod po stanovanju.

Na katere prostore pa se najbolj osredotočiš? Okrasiš vse prostore v stanovanju/hiši ali se osredotočiš le na dnevni prostor? 

Osrednji prostor (dnevna soba, jedilnica in kuhinja) je večji odprt prostor, ki mu posvetimo največ časa za okrasitev. Konec koncev v njem preživimo največ časa. Vedno poskrbimo tudi za venček na vratih, lučke na oknih in dekoracijo na jedilni mizi. Letos je to kar manjša smrekica v beli vazi.

Do you choose the same colours and decorations every year or do you prefer to experiment with different ones?

We change the Christmas tree ornaments and decorative pieces every two years. This year we added some happy lights to our Christmas tree, which are extra popular and they bring the nice warmth to our home. We combine different pieces and different colours, but the base is always white. I also wanted to bring some nature into our home, so you can find pine twigs in every room.

Which room do you focus the most on? Do you decorate all the rooms in your apartment/house or do you focus only on the living area?

The main area (living area, dining area and kitchen) is a large open space, where we spend the most time decorating. Is the space where we spend the most of our time, after all. We always hang a wreath on the door, put lights on the windows and decorate the dining table. This year, the centerpiece of the dining table is a small Christmas tree in a white vase.

Kako se pa na praznično obdobje pripravljaš kot blogerka? Kakšne objave lahko v teh dneh najdemo na tvojem blogu?

Praznično vzdušje sem si želela prenesti tudi na Sugarlove blog. Nisem želela samo klasičnih ocen izdelkov, temveč tudi ideje o zavijanju darilc, ideje o darilih, ki polepšajo božično jutro, znamke s katerimi zares ne moreš zgrešiti, pokukali boste lahko v moj dom, preverili nego kože za praznične dni. Želim, da je december na blogu praznično obarvan tako z objavami, kot s samim prikazom fotografij. Upam, da Vam bodo le te všeč.

Za konec pa, imaš kakšno sporočilo, dobro misel, ki bi jo rada delila? 

Nič na tem svetu ni toliko pomembno kot to, da v sebi občutiš tisto pravo srečo. Vsak dan posebej se lahko boriš za njo, samo odločiti se moraš za to. Želim ti/vam vse dobro v letu, ki prihaja. Naj bo magično in čarobno.

How do you prepare for the holiday season as a blogger? What kind of blog posts can we find on your blog these days?

I wanted to bring a holiday spirit on Sugarlove blog too. I didn't want to post only traditional beauty product reviewes, but also some ideas for gift wrapping, ideas for gifts that brighten your Christmas morning, brands that really won't fail you, you can also peek inside my home and check how to take care for your skin during holidays. I want for my blog to be festive during December too, including blog posts and photos. I hope you will like it.

In the end, do you have a special message or a nice thought, you'd like to share?

Nothing in this world is as important as the feeling of the true happiness in your heart. You can fight for it day by day, you just have to decide you want to. I wish you all the best in the new year. Let it be magical.
