VSAKA SKODELICA IMA ZGODBO // EVERY MUG HAS A STORY

SLO | Prepričana sem, da imaš v svoji omari več kot eno skodelico. In prepričana sem, da se te skodelice med seboj ne ujemajo. :D Se ujemajo? Oh, kaj si naredila z ostalimi? :O ;) Skodelice so ponavadi stvari, ki jih dobimo za darilo, včasih dobiš eno, s posebnim sporočilom ali sliko natisneno na njo, včasih dobiš dve - eno zate, drugo za tvojega partnerja, tri ali več pa...se redkokdaj zgodi, saj vsi vedo, da jih nekaj že imaš in je lažje najti prostor za dve, kot za šest. :D

V tem trenutku je v moji omari 15 majhnih in 18 velikih skodelic, 2 XXL skodelice, 1 mini skodelica in 3 posode za kosmiče in zdaj ugotovi, koliko ljudi živi tukaj? Dva. :D In skoraj vsaka skodelica ima svojo zgodbo...

ENG | I'm pretty sure you have more than one mug in your cupboard. And I'm sure that they don't match. :D They do match? Oh, what did you do with the others? :O ;) Mugs and cups are usually the things that we get as a gift. Sometimes you get one - with a special message or picture on it, sometimes you get two - one for you, one for your partner, you get three or more...well, almost never, because everybody knows that you already have a few and it's easier to find a room for two mugs, rather than six. :D

At the moment, there are 15 cups, 18 mugs, 2 XXL mugs, 1 mini mug and 3 bowls in our cupboard, and guess how many people live here? Two. :D And almost every mug, cup or a bowl has its own story...

BELA Z MODRIM PIKAMI

To skodelico sem dobila na državnem tekmovanju, mislim da iz Vesele šole, ko sem imela 13/14 let. Po 10ih letih jo še vedno uporabljam, ker mi je zelo všeč - je bela in ima lušne majhne pikice gor. Ročaj se je enkrat že odlomil, ampak sem ga uspešno zalepila nazaj gor. :)

WHITE MUG WITH BLUE DOTS

I've got this mug on a some kind of national competition when I was 13 or 14 years old. After 10 years I'm still using it, because I really like it - it's white and has lovely blue dots. The handle has already fallen off once, but I've successfully glued it back on. :)

ROČNO POSLIKANA SKODELICA "ŽABICA" od Mary Rose Young?

Ta je prav posebna skodelica, saj je ena izmed najstarejših kar jih imam. Ne izgleda posebej stara, kajne? :) Dobila sem jo za svoj 8, 9 ali 10 rojstni dan, se ne spomnim prav točno, ampak je ročno poslikana in tako ljubka, da je nisem nikdar uporabljala, saj sem se bala, da bi jo jaz ali kdo drug razbil. V škatli je bila 15 let. Škatla zraven je originalna škatla v kateri sem jo dobila kot darilo in spomnim se, da sem poleg dobila še štampiljko z smeškotom in seveda, sem jo morala takoj testirati. To razloži, zakaj so po škatli odtisi smeškotov. :D Na škatli piše, da je skodelico oblikovala Mary Rose Young, ampak nisem povsem prepričana, saj imam še eno enako škatlico, v kateri pa sem dobila Nici skodelico, tako da nisem prepričana. Razlog za dvom je tudi ta, da skodelice od Mary Rose Young niso prav poceni, zato resnično dvomim, da bi mi kot otroku nekdo kupil njeno originalno skodelico.

HAND PAINTED "FROG" MUG by Mary Rose Young?

This one is a special mug, because it's one of the oldest mugs I have. It doesn't look very old, does it? :) I've got it for my 8th, 9th or 10th birthday, I don't really remember, but it's hand painted and so lovely, so I've never used it, because I was afraid I or someone else will break it. It was in a box for 15 years. The box behind the mug is an original box I got for my birthday and I remember there was also a stamp with a smiley face in it and I had to test it immediately. That explains smiley faces on the box. :D It says it's designed by Mary Rose Young, but I'm not sure, because there is also the other exactly the same box I got for the same birthday, but I got Nici mug in it, so I'm not sure. Also Mary Rose Young mugs are not so cheap, so really I doubt that someone has bought me her original mug, when I was a kid.

BELE SKODELICE S SPOMINČICAMI

Res so lepe in imam jih 6, zato jih uporabljam samo za posebne priložnosti. Ko so v našem stanovanju več kot 3 ljudje in pijemo čaj. Te skodelice so samo za čaj. :) Mama jih je dobila kdo ve kje in ker jih ni nihče uporabljal, mi jih je dala, ko sem se preselila v novo stanovanje.

FORGET-ME-NOT WHITE MUGS

They are so lovely and I have 6 of them, so I use them only for "special" occasions. When there are more than 3 people in my apartment and we drink tea. These mugs are for tea only. :) My mom got them who knows where and because nobody has used them, she gave them to me when I moved to this "new" apartment.

SKODELICE S PIKAMI

Ti dve skodelici sem dobila kot darilo od prijateljice. Dobila sem jih z paketom vroče čokolade, zato sta ti dve skodelici samo za vročo čokolado! ;) Zelo so mi všeč pike in lepe barve - zelo jesensko/zimske.

These two lovely cups were a birthday present from my friend. I got them with the package of hot chocolate, therefore these cups are for the hot chocolate only! ;) I really like the dots , they are in beautiful colours - very autumn-wintry.

POSODA ZA KOSMIČE S SRČKI

Ti tve sem kupila v Franciji, ko smo šli bordat. Kupovala sem nekaj spominkov, ko sem jih zagledala in se v trenutku zaljubila v njih. KEr se nisem mogla odločiti v kateri barvi jih želim, sem vzela vsako po eno. Uporabljam jih skoraj vsako jutro za zajtrk. :)

I've bought these two in France, when we went snowboarding. I was buying some souvenirs when I saw these. I instantly fell in love, but I couldn't decide which colour I want, so I took two different ones. I use them almost every morning for my breakfast. :)

ČRNO-BELE XXL SKODELICE

Te dve obožujem ker sta tako veliki - 4,5dl!!! Uporabljam jih za čaj ali belo kavo in v resnici sta najnovejši v našem domu in stalno v uporabi. Kadar delam ponoči, mi je še posebej všeč skodelica "Keep Calm and Drink Coffee" :) Mi pomaga ostati budna ;)

BLACK AND WHITE XXL MUGS

I love these two because they are huge - 4,5 dl!!! I use them for tea or latte macchiato. These two are actually the newest in our home and are constantly in use. I love the "Keep Calm and Drink Coffee" mug when I work over night. :) It helps me stay awake ;)
