Vesela sem, da moj delovni kotiček počasi postaja vedno bolj urejen. :D Stvar, ki me je zmotila tokrat, je bila moja 'podloga za miško, ki se barvno nikakor ni skladala z ostalim stvarmi. Kot nalašč sem pred dnevi na Pinterestu naletela na lušen in enostaven 'naredi sam' projekt in se odločila, da ga preizkusim. Razlika je samo v tem, da sem se jaz odločila uporabiti le pripomočke, ki jih imam doma.

My working area is slowly getting more and more organized and I'm so happy about it. :D The thing that bothered me lately was a mousepad, which colour didn't match to all the other things on my desk at all. But a few days ago, I found this cute and easy DIY project on Pinterest and I've decided to test it. The only difference is that I've decided to use supplies that I can find at home.

Zagotovo imaš doma še kakšno staro torbico, ki je že dolgo časa ne uporabljaš, ampak je nisi še vrgla v smeti, ker ti jo je škoda? Lahko jo uporabiš za izdelavo podloge za miško naprimer :)

Pripomočki:

- staro torbico iz umetnega usnja

- tekoče lepilo za papir, les in tekstil (Mekol special)

- škarje in svinčnik

neobvezno:

- stara podloga za miško

I'm pretty sure you have at least one old handbag at home, which is no longer in use, but you think it's a pity to throw it away? Well, you can use it to make a mousepad. :)

Supplies:

- old faux leather handbag

- adhesive for gluing wood, paper and fabrics

- scissors and a pencil

Optional:

- old mousepad

Najprej sem torbici odrezala ročaje in vse odvečne dele. Tik pri zadrgi sem na notranji strani zarezala v blago in ga ločila od zunanjega. Najprej sem želela iz torbice izrezati kos umetnega usnja in ga prilepiti na staro podlogo za miško, ampak sem ugotovila, da je v torbici, pod zunanjim slojem, še sloj nekega mehkega materiala / pene, ki bi odlično služil tudi za podlogo za miško. Tako sem obliko stare podloge le obrisala na hrbtno stran tega penastega materiala in izrezala. Umetno usnje in penasto podlogo sem s tekočim lepilom zalepila skupaj, obtežila in počakala, da se posuši. Nato sem še malo porezala robove in podloga za miško je bila končana v manj kot 10 minutah.. Zelo mi je všeč in tudi miška zdaj veliko lepše dela ;)

First, I cut off the bag handles and all the excessive things. I cut the fabric inside the handbag, just next to the zipper, so I could separate it from the outside part. I wanted to cut the piece of a faux leather and just glued it on the old mousepad, but I found out, that under the faux leather, there is another layer of a nice and soft material / foam, which seemed perfect for my mousepad. I just outlined my old mousepad on the back of this soft material and I cut out the form. I glued together the faux leather and the foam pad, weighted it down and waited a few minutes for it to dry. Then I cut off the edges and the mousepad was completed in less than 10 minutes. I love it and my computer mouse is working so much better now. ;)
